I have expressed this before, but Delphi is and will hopefully always be the number one programming language for database-driven applications. The architecture that has been there since Delphi 1 is still standing strong. Of course, there has been need for change to the database drivers, due to technological advances.

Hidden gems: Navigating datasets in the IDE

I have been using Delphi since version 2. Yes, that means since 1996. I always considered myself pretty solid when it comes to features that “have been there forever”. However, watching a video from fellow MVP (and Phd. 😉 ) Cary Jensen made the voice in my head say “You learn a new thing every day”.
