VCL: Validating user-input on the fly using TAdvEdit

In a previous video, I introduced and showed hands-on examples of the feature set of TAdvEdit.TAdvEdit does have even more to offer when it comes to supporting the user while entering data. I simply dislike it when I click OK and get an error message that could have been handled before I actually confirmed the dialog.

VCL: Getting user-input with TAdvEdit

The VCL component TEdit is as basic as programming with Delphi can get. Almost every Delphi book starts with a Hello World application that involves a button and an edit control that shows ‘Hello World’ after clicking the button. Most certainly, TEdit gives you all the functionality to need in order to ask the user for input.
