TMS WEB Core: Example app to send email from the browser without mail app

Sending email messages from a Web client application usually is done using a mailto: HTML reference. This will open the mail application that is installed on the system and you are able to enter your email.

This has significant downsides as it requires certain software to be installed on the client.

Another milestone for Web development with Delphi!

Today, I woke up to awesome news. TMS Software released TMS WEB Core 1.6. This version is a milestone because it comes with enormous compiler upgrades!

Available now are:

  • Generics
  • Attributes
  • Class constructors
  • Resource strings
  • Async procedure decorator
  • Await support
  • JavaScript promises support
  • Resource file support

This will allow TMS and other third parties to upgrade their libraries to truly work in the same way as they do in other platforms.
