Another milestone for Web development with Delphi!

Today, I woke up to awesome news. TMS Software released TMS WEB Core 1.6. This version is a milestone because it comes with enormous compiler upgrades!

Available now are:

  • Generics
  • Attributes
  • Class constructors
  • Resource strings
  • Async procedure decorator
  • Await support
  • JavaScript promises support
  • Resource file support

This will allow TMS and other third parties to upgrade their libraries to truly work in the same way as they do in other platforms.

Looking forward to 2021… review of 2020

In the tradition of this blog, I will briefly review 2020 and set goals for 2021 in an upcoming post. I certainly will not be alone with the notion to get to 2021 and leave 2020 sooner than later. Still, looking back at the goals I set for 2020, it has been a very good year for FlixEngineering.

It seems DelphiFeeds.com is under new management and the blog feeds are being updated! Sadly, in the past couple of months it had been outdated and a lot of new Delphi feeds had not been aggregated. This includes my very own feed that changed its URL and was never updated.
